Kane's Girl

The house is dark as everyone is sleeping and Angel walks around and finds the kitchen. She walks in and opens the fridge and takes out a coke and drinks it as she steps outside to light a cigarette, her parents don't like her to smoke inside the house. She finishes and walks back to her dark room and gets into bed. Angel lays there thinking about tomarrows WWF event. She is very excited Because she has backstage passes and is bound and determined to meet her favoroite The Undertaker. Angel falls to sleep thinking of teh deadman and meeting him.

The next day she rides her Harley Davidson to her friends house and they go for a ride. They arrive at a small diner for lunch. Angel and her friend Payne talk about the upcoming event tonite.

"So what are you goona say to him?" Payne asks. "Well I havent got that far, I just want to shake his hand and get his autograph." Replies Angel. "You are one lucky bitch you know that don't you?" said Payne. "yes I do" Angel says. As they finish eating their lunch the 2 women pay foir their meal and head out the door.

"Well I guess I will talk to you later. I am sure you need to go get ready" Payne said. "yes I better go get ready for my Taker." Replyed Angel.

Angel and Payne head down the road going their seperate ways. Payne heads to the local tatto shop to check out some new art and Angel heads home to find something to wear. As Angel pulls into the driveway her dad is outside washing the car. Angel Parks her bike and walks into the house. She heads upstairs to her room that is plastered with posters of The Undertaker in all of his glory. Some are from matches, others are soem magazine pictures and a few promo shots. Angel walks to her closet and decides on a pair of tight levis and a black Undertaker shirt that has his picture on it with his arms crossed. She thought to herself,"I wonder if he will be in a good mood...when is he ever in a good mood. Ah that is why we love him. Our dark warrior." Angel begins to get dressed. She sits down on the bed to lace up her 9-hole Doc Marten's boots. As Angel leaves she puts on her black leather trench coat that has a purple "T" symbol on the back.

As Angel walks to the door her mother calls to her in the kitchen. "Angel you be careful and have fun ok." Angel calls back to her "Don't worry mom. I will be just fine."

Once outside Angel hops on her bike and turns the key and drives out onto the street. She turns to wave to her parents. The arena isnt too far away just the next town. Angel arrives to the arena and drives up to the back gate and shows the security guard her pass, he lets her through after pointing to where she should park. Angel ended up parking next to a shiny black hearse. She looks over and smiles for she knows her man is there.

Angel walks into the building after showing another guard ger pass again. He directs her where to go. Angel walks to a large door that says The undertaker, she touches the door and smiles. Angel keeps going to where she was told to go and waited with the other fans who also had passes. Jim Dotson walks into the room and welcomes the fans. He explains how during the show that they will all be seated in the front row and after the show they will be brought back here to visit with the wrestlers again. He conmtinues to explain that they will be free to move about the backstage area as they wish until the show is to begin.

Chapter 2 Angel is walking around the backstage area and she hears someone in a dark corner breathing heavily. She walks to where she hears the sound, she bends down and sees a large man wearing red rocking back and forth cowering in the corner. She puts her arm around him and it is shoved away by a huge hand covered in a thick black leather glove. Then it occurs to Angel that this man is none other than Kane. She softly asks the giant "whats wrong? Why are you all by yourself?" Kane grunts back at her to leave him alone. "I only wanted to see if you were ok. I will leave you alone then." Angel replies. "Wait" Kane grumbles at her. Angel says "sure I will stay if you tell me what is wrong." "I am not a very popular person...I am a freak after what my brother did to me" Kane tells her. "Well Kane I happen to like you a lot. I am a big fan." Angel boasts. "Oh you came to see the freak?" Kane replies. Angel thinks to herself wow he really is sensative isnt her. "Kane Yes I am your fan but I also would like to know you." Angel tells him. "Until you see my hidiously burned face huh? Yeah all you peopel run away when you see the real me." Kane growls. "Kane why dont we go somewhere we can talk?" Angel asks. "Dont you need to find your seat so you can watch the show?" Kane asks. Angel knowing that Kane is hurting reaches down to touch his beautiful reddish curly hair. As Kane pulls from her touch. "trust me whoever you are I am not the type to take home to mom." Kane announces. "Well we will see about that." Angel tells him.

After as few minutes of coaxing Angel gets Kane to rise to his feet and walk outside with her. They walk around where the big trucks are parked. Angel reaches over and takes Kane's hand. He looks at her and tilts his head to the side in confusion. "Why are you so nice to me? Most girls think I am ugly" Kane asks. "I think you are beautiful and I really don't care what everyone else thinks." Angel answers. "infact I kind of identify with you" Angel informs him. "Why you are so beautiful? I wouldnt think that you would have felt any discomfort in your life." Kane states. "Well I just found out that my parents really arent my parents. I was informed I was adopted. And I have always been the girl that the boys didnt like and I never had friends. I have one friend Payne and she has been my friend since we were like 5 years old. Kane I woulsd like to be your friend" Angel tells him. "I havent had too many friends. People ususally think I am here to laugh and point at. Even though I am big and strong it still hurts a lot." Kane explains. "Well I would never disrespect you. I thik you would make a fine friend." Angel tells him as she sweetly kisses his hand since his face is covered by his leather mask. "Angel would you like to watch the show from my locker room?" Kane asks. "Yes. I would be thrilled to." Angel answers. Kane tilts his head and asks "Would you like to go back to my hotel tonite? I dont want to be alone." Kane mutters. "I have an idea why dont you come to my house after the show. Its only a few miles outside of town." Angel says. "Yes I think I would like that." Kane replies.

Angel and Kane walk back into the backstage and to his locker room. "Well its time to go to my match" Kane announces "Will you be here when its done?" Angel smiles up at Kane and says "Yes I wont go anywhere." Angel begins to watch the small monitor in the room as Kane walks out and his pyros go off.

Chapter 3

Angel watches Kane's match very closely as he destroys his opponent with a barage of chokeslams and ends with a tombstone piledriver then the pin. Kane wrestles this match as if he has a new confidence.

Kane walks into the locker room and he is thinking that he hopes Angel is still there like she promised. He also wonders if he can trust her emotionally. The only other woman he ever trusted was his mother and she was taken from him by his brother. The man who scared him so badly he is forced to wear this awful mask that he hates. Kane looks up to see Angel still sitting there watching the monitor. She turns to look at him. "Kane you did great!" she tells him. "Thank you I am happy you liked it." Kane replies.

"Kane I just realized I havent moved into my own place yet and I still live with my parents. They wouldnt like me bringing a man home. So why dont we go to your hotel room." Angel informs Kane. "Are you ashamed to be seen with me? I knew nobody would ever like me for me!" Kane yells. Kane so upset he sits in the corner and rocks back and forth screaming and punching the wall. Angel walks over to him and embraces him as a single tear runs down from under the mask. "Kane I am not ashamed of you in any way. Infact I want to bring you to meet my parents. I really want to spend some time with you. I have already grown to have strong feelings for you." Angel tells him. "You do?" Kane asks. "yes, I think you are beautiful, sensative and caring. I sense that you have a big heart." Angel replies. Kane gets up off the floor and he hugs Angel like there is no tomarrow. "Come on lets get out of here" Angel tells him as she takes his hand and leads him from the room.

They enter the hotel room. It is a simple room with a small bathroom a large double bed, a dresser that has Kane's bag on it. Angel sits down on the bed and invites Kane to do the same thing. He walks over and sits next to her. But, Kane is very nervous he has never been with a woman. Angel moves behind him and begins to massage his shoulders and then his back. Angel moves his long curly hair aside from his neck and kisses him softly. "Kane do me a favor please?" Angel asks. "Kane ok if I can." Kane replies. "Angel please take off your mask so I can kiss you. And so I may look into your eyes." Angel says. "I don't think that is a very good idea. I am afraid too." Kane replies. "What are you afraid of?" Angel asks confused. "You will make fun of me you will laugh and say rude things. Like all the other people." Kane says almost sobbing. "Kane, I would never do anything like that to you. How could you even think that?" Angel asks. "Angel let me get used to the idea of a girlfriend...is that what you are?" Kane states. "Yes, Kane I would be honored to be your girlfriend and if you aren't ready that is just fine. All I want is to be near you." Angel tells him. The rest of the night Kane and Angel talk and hold each other. In the morning Angel wakes Kane up. "Come on sleepy head wake up. You have a plane to catch, honey" Kane starts to wake up and he sees Angel is still there and not a wonderful dream his eyes light up.

"Angel I have something for you." Kane says. "What is it? You didnt go anywhere" Angel wonders out loud. "Just watch" Kane replies. Kane puts his large hand up on top of the strap that holds the mask on. He pulls it off reveiling a badly scarred and distorted face. "What do you think? Hell, you are still here and screaming from the room." Kane states. Angel looks at kane for the longest time making him even more nervous. "Doesn't make a difference to me. You are still the man I love. I don't care about looks Kane." Angel puts her arms on Kane's shoulder and he bends down. Then Angel gives him the most passionate kiss he has ever imagined. As she slides her tounge into his mouth she can feel his manlyness growing. "call me honey. I know you have to get going to the next show." Angel tells him. "Why dont you come to the show tonite." Kane asks. "Ok Anything to see you again." Angel replies. Kane and Angel walk out of the room she gets on her motorcycle and heads down the freeway to the arena 50 miles down the road, as Kane gets into the rental car and follows.

Chapter 4
Kane and Angel arrive at the arena. Kane parks his rental car and Angel parks her bike. She gets off the bike and reaches in her pocket pulls out a pack of cigarettes. As Angel lights it Kane immediatly starts to shake all over and goes inside. After Angel finishes her smoke she looks for Kane and finds him in the locker room trembling. "Kane whats wrong?" Angel asks. "Fire burns fire burns" Kane mutters over and over. "It's ok Kane its just a cigartette. You are ok now. I am sorry I didn't mean to frighten you." Angel states. Angel kneels down to where Kane is and she embraces him and strokes his hair. " I am so sorry baby. I never meant to make you feel bad." Angel tells him. "It's alright. I am just deathly afraid of fire." Kane replies. Angel helps Kane up and he gets ready for his match.

After the show Angel and Kane go back to the hotel room and they sit and talk for hours. "Kane I will be right back I am gonna go outside for a few minutes" Angel says. "Are you gonna smoke?" Kane asks. "Yes that is why I am going outside so I don't do it in front of you." Angel answers. After Angel finishes her smoke she comes back inside and Kane is in the shower. She gets ready for bed. As Angel waits for Kane she thinks about how she wants him and wonders if he feels the same. Kane walks out of the bathroom his hair is still wet and he is wearing nothing but a towel and his mask. "Kane please take that off. You aren't at the arena anymore." Angel demands. Kane obeys her command. Angel smiles inviting Kane to come to bed. "This is our last night together for a while huh?" Kane asks. "Yes, I am sorry but I have to go back to work and my parents must be very worried." Angel answers. "Lets just enjoy our time together." Angel says.

Kane puts his arm gently around Angel as he starts to kiss her neck. He finds her breast and begins to rub it gently. Angel helps Kane to remove her shirt. He finds an erect nipple and he begins to lick it. Angel feels him and kisses him and he props himself up and enters her. They make love for most of the night. Both of them exhausted Angel holds on to Kane as he asks " Was it ok...I didn't hurt you did I?" Angel smiles and replies "No honey you didn't hurt me. It was wonderful" Kane and Angel quickly fall asleep.

In the morning Kane wakes up first he kisses Angel on the forehead. She sleepily asks him "Is that all you are gonan do?" Kane smiles and asks "What would you like me to do?" "If I have to tell you then I guess you can wait till next week." Angel jokingly tells him. Angel Gets up out of bed and puts on her boxers and heads outside to smoke. When she returns Kane is dressed and ready to go. Angel begins to get dressed. They both pack their bag. Angel scribbes something on a peice of paper and hands it to Kane. "What is this" he asks. "It is my phone number. I want you to call me everyday. I am gonna miss you." Angel commands. "Kane I will call you everyday probably more than that. I am in love with you Angel. I don't think I will be able to go a day without hearing your voice." Kane tells her. Angel kinda blushes as her heart starts to beat faster. "You love me Kane?" Angel asks. As Kane picks up his mask and puts it on "Yes Angel I do love you and I want to know if you feel the same way?" He wonders out loud. "Yes Kane I love you too" Angel replies.

Angel fastens her bag to her Harley and Kane tosses his bag in the trunk of the car. They embrace and Kane lifts his mask. Him and Angel share one last kiss till they meet again. Angel heads back to Houston as Kane heads to the airport.

Chapter 5

Angel pulls into her driveway she parks and walks into her house. She goes into her room and puts her bag down, she picks up her cordless phone and looks at it. She wonders to herself "Will he call." Angel gets up and notices the answering machine light blinking. Angel pushes the button and there is Kane's voice saying how much he misses her already. Angel smiles and goes into the bathroom to take a shower.

When Angel walks back to her room her mother is in there waiting for her. Mom says "Angel did you have fun?" Angel looks at her mother with fear and says "Yes, I did." "Well your father is furious and frankly so am I. You can't just venture off and do as you please. There were things you had to do here." Mom states furiously. "Like what! Wait on dad and that ungrateful son of yours? Or was I to be messed with? Which vail thing do you speak of?" Angel screams. Angel's mother slaps her hard turning her cheek bright red. "You don't ever talk to me that way!! You should be on your knees kissing the ground we walk on. We took you in when no other person wanted you...Your own mother didnt want you. We took you in, fed you, clothed you, we even educated you. And how are we thanked by you running off to some ridiculous wrestling show. What innocent man did you seduce this time with your evil ways?" Her mother screams back. Angel is reduced to tears after being humiliated. After her mother leaves she immediatly picks up the phone and dials Kane's cell phone.

"Kane can I come out to see you?" Angel says sobbing. "What is wrong baby?" Kane asks with concern in his voice. "Please can I come out to be with you?" Angel asks again sobbing uncontrolable. "Just tell me what is wrong." Kane says. "I have problems at home and I need to leave." Angel says. "Go stay with Payne for a few days and I will come to see you." Kane tells her. "Alright Kane I can go over there but they will just come and get me." Angel replies. "I have to go and get ready for the show call me later ok." Kane says. "Alright bye." Angel replies.

Angel sneaks out of the house and pushes her Harley down the street a little. She puts the key in and starts it. She drives off to Payne's house. She pulls into the driveway. But she doesnt see Payne's bike so she waits for her. About an hour later Payne gets home. "Angel glad you're back." Payne says. Angel starts to cry again. "Whats wrong?" Payne asks. "It is real bad at home can I stay here with you?" Angel asks. "Of course you can. You don't need to ask. But what if they come and drag you back like last time?" Payne replies. "I am 18 now they can't bring me back this time." Angel states. "Well come on in then." Payne says as she helps Angel up.

They walk into the house and Angel picks up the phone. "Who you calling?" Payne asks. "Oh just Kane." Angel answers. Payne looks confused. "Isn't that the one wrestler guy" She asks. Angel smiles "Yes he is the one who goes aroiund destroying all in his path." Angel states. Angel dials the number and Kane answers. "hello" "Kane, it's Angel. I am at Payne's house." Angel tells him. "I just called to let you know and to give you the number. I will go so you can get to work." Angel tells him. "When I get there I want you to tell me everything about what happened at your parents ok." Kane commands. "Yes I will tell you everything. I should have already. Kane I love you and I want us to be totaly honest ok." Angel says. "Alright Angel goodbye." Kane says.

Angel awakens in the middle of the night to loud pounding on the door. She gets up and looks out the window to see her fatehr and brother outside. Angel opens the door. "What the hell do you want? It is in the middle of the night. You are gonna wake the neighborhood." Angel warns. "You need to come home right now." dad screams. Angel goes to slam the door but he puts his foot in the door way. He pushes the door open and pulls her outside by her hair. Her Father holds her And procedes to punch her in the face knocking her down. He kicks her repeatedly in the side while screaming at her."You will never escape what you are! You will never be anything worth while. You are pure evil...a whore only thing you are good for!" They leave as Angel is laying in puddle of her own blood from the beating. Her father comes back while she is still laying on the ground and rapes her.

When the sun begins to warn the ground Angel wakes up and realises that she is on the ground. She thinks that she may have passed out. She reaches up to her face to rub her eyes and winces in pain. Payne walks outside to see why the front door was still open. She sees Angel trying to get up. Payne walks over to her and helps her into the house. "Dammit they got you good this time." Payne declares. "There is no escape from them. They will always come after me." Angel says as she starts to cry. "why don't you call Kane?" Payne asks. "No I don't want to bother him." Angel answers. Just then the phone rings and Payne answers. "Hello" "Can I talk to Angel please" Kane asks. "Yes hang on a second." Payne replies handing Angel the phone. "I am at the Houston airport can you pick me up? I am sorry it isnt time for me to visit but I am very worried about you." Kane says. "We will be there in 30 minutes. Thank you Kane, I really need you right now." Angel informs him. They hang up and Payne has already warmed up her truck, Angel heads out the door and they leave for the airport.

Chapter 6

Angel arrives at the airport, Payne drops her off at the door then parks the truck. After walking in angel notices that people are staring at her but she don't care. All she wants to do is to get to her Kane. To have those big strong arms hold her is all she wants.

Angel walks around a corner and down a long hallway and looks up to see Kane he is wearing his mask, a sleeveless button down shirt and black jeans with untied doc martens boots. Kane sees Angel and stops in his tracks. He thinks Where did her beatiful face go? Angel sees Kane and runs to him practically tackling him. Angel cries into his chest, Kane sofly massages a circle in her back and whispers "What happened to you?"

"My father and brother, I will explain everything when we get to Payne's house. She is waiting for us." Angel replies.
"I will deal with them myself!" Kane growls.
Angel and Kane walk out of the airport hand in hand as Payne pulls the truck next to them. Kane opens the door and helps angel inside, he tosses his bag in the back of the truck then climbs in himself.

"Payne this is Kane." Angel introduces.
"I know who he is, who do you think called him?" Payne replies.
"You called him? How did you get his number?" Angel asks.
Payne smiles and says "This morning I looked in your wallet and found his number and called...I knew you wouldn't."
Kane tilts his head after hearing that. "Angel why wouldn't you have called me?" Kane wonders.
"because the last tiem we talked on the phone you seemed like you didn't really want to see me anymore." Angel replies.
"How could you even think that? Yes I will admit I was a little confused and worried that you were never gonna speak to me again. I love you Angel and I will protect you." Kane says.
"Angel, I think you got yourself a great man there. But I want to see what he looks like." Payne says.
"You can see what he looks like by just looking at him. He doesn't take the mask off. He was badly injured as a child and doesn't like to show his face." Angel replies.
"Oh I am sorry Kane that was very insensative of me." Payne apologizes.
"It's ok most people just run and hide from me. Thank you for making me feel welcome." Kane states.

Chapter 7

The trio arrive at Payne's house and Kane sees the blood stains still on the front lawn. And starts to tremble. They all walk into the house. Payne takes angel by the arm and leads her to the bathroom.

"come on lets get you cleaned up." Payne says.
"What do you mean cleaned up?" Angel asks.
Payne looks at her and smiles "You don't know? Your face is swelled and has dried blood all over it."
"Oh with Kane coming I wasnt worried I just wanted to see him." Angel replies.
Payne takes a washcloth and runs it over warm water and begins to help Angel clean the blood off.
"They really did a number on me this time didn't they?" Angel asks.
Before Payne can answer they hear Kane walking around.
"We better hurry. I don't want to leave him alone, he gets nervous in strange places and he is pissed off as hell." Angel says.
"Yes I agree." Payne answers.

Angel walks in the living room and sits next to Kane. He tilts his head. "Are you gonna tell me what happened now?" He asks.
Angel looks into his eyes "yes, I cant hold onto it much longer." She says.
"Well I am waiting." Kane replies.
"Ok and I will understand if you dont want to see me anymore. Well I was adopted and have been treated like a slave/whore ever since. My mother is horrible to me always putting me down and assuming the worst. My father and brothers have been abusing me for more than 10 years. Him and my brother showed up here last night and attacked me. They beat me till I passed out then raped me in the yard. I stayed out of it till Payne woke me up to say we were going to get you. You know Kane atleast people can see your scars mine will never heal or go away." Angel tells him.

"And you think that is gonna scare me away? Damn girl I love you and I am not giving up that easily. Infact your family is lucky that I dont show up. Beating up a woman is bad enough but to treat her with such disrespect or humanity is the worst." Kane replies.

Chapter 8

The next morning Angel feels a set of large arms around her she wakes up with a smile. "Good morning baby." She greets.
"Come on pack some stuff you are going on the road with me. You are not safe here and I cant protect you while I am on the road." Kane states.
"Alright. I would love that." Angel says.
Angel rumages around packing what clothes that she has at Payne's house. She goes into the bathroom grabs a quick shower, packs all of her things after she is done with them. She walks out "I am ready, When do we go?" She asks.
"Right now." He replies. Angel and Kane walk down the stairs. They see Payne sittign on her couch drinking coffee. "You guys ready?" Payne asks.
"Yes, I am sorry to run out on you but I have to go." Angel tells her
"It is fine you arent safe here. You just keep in touch." Payne tells her.
"Please keep my bike here for me, I will be back to get it." Angel asks.
"No problem I am happy to help. Now go on you have a plane to catch. You take care of her Kane." Payne orders
Kane nods a responce. They walk out the door into a waiting cab.
Kane looks to Angel. "Now you will be fine. I have you and I wont let go."
Angel gets herself comfortable on Kanes shoulder as he puts his arm around her. "Yes, I am safe now...forever. And you just try to get rid of me." Angel announces.

Chapter 9

1 year later

Angel is in the kitchen getting dinner ready as Kane will be home soon. She is making him his favorite dinner, rare steak covered in sauted onions, garlic and mushrooms. Angel walks over the refridgerater and pulls out soem corn, she takes the husks off and tosses them into boiling water. She then walks outside and lights a cigarette.

Angel hears the door open and pokes her head in the door, "Kane I am back here." she states. Kane walks outside and holds his arm s out and sees that Angel is smoking so he goes inside to wait for her. Since Angel hasnt seen kane for a 2 weeks, she puts out her smoke and walks into the house. She finds Kane on one knee. "Kane are you ok?" Angel asks with concern. Kane tilts his head "Angel I love you more than life, you have given me the courage to stand on my own and be strong." Just as he takjes his mask off he asks, "Angel will you be my wife?" Kane asks. "I don't know what to say, Kane" Angel exclaims. "Say yes." Kane replies "Oh Kane I do love you...YES! I will marry you plus I have a little surprise for you." Angel happily tells him. "What?" Kane asks impatiently. Angel pulls out a white plastic stick out of her pocket and hands it to him. He looks at it. "It has pink lines on it what does that mean?" Kane asks confused. "You are going to be a father,Kane" Angel excitedly tells him. Kane sccops her up with one arm and twurls her around the room then sets her down and passionatky kisses her. "Are you happy?" Angel asks. "Yes, I never thought I would be a father." Kane replies.

Angel walks into the kitchen to turn down the burner for the corn and takes the steak out of the oven. She carries it over to the table and puts it down. Kane walks over and pulls her chair out so she can sit down. They begin to enjoy their dinner. "I am gonna clean up for you, Angel." Kane announces. "Why? You never have before?" Angel asks. "Well you gave me yet 2 more gifts today. Your hand in marriage and my first child. I am just happy." Kane replies. "Ok if you really want to." Anger says.

"Kane when did you plan on getting married?" Angel asks. "As soon as possible." Kane replies. "well first thing tomarrow I will start planning it. Let me know who you want invited Kane." Angel says. "I really dont have many friends or family as you know they are dead." Kane replies. "Well I thought maybe you would like you father and brother there." Angel states. Kane looks at her tilts his head "Why would I want my brother there he would probably ruin everything. and you want to invite theman who tortured me for so many years at our wedding?" Kane asks. "why don't we just have a small wedding. The only person I really want to invite is Payne anyway. My family is dead as far as I am concerned." Angel says.

Chapter 10

The next day Angel is on the phone she hangs up and writes some information down. "Kane" she calls. "Yes Angel, what is it?" Kane answers. "I got some news about the wedding." Angel says. "Oh what is it?" Kane replies. "All we have to do is buy the liscense and make an appoinment with the judge. We can do it with only one witness that can be Payne. I have already called her and told her and she is more than willing. What do you think?" Angel says. "That sounds great to me. I don't want my brother showing up so lets keep this quiet till we get married." Kane replies. "That is just fine I kinda wanted a private thing anyway." Angel says.

Later that night Angel is outside enjoying a smoke and thinking of how much her life has changed since she met Kane. Kane walks outside and sits next to her. He tilts his head. "Whats up, hun?" Angel asks. "I just like watching you. When you think you have a far away look in your eye. I think you are beautiful." Kane states. "Thank you babe. In a few months you wont be thinking that anymore. I am gonna get huge. I am afraid of having a 20 pound baby." Angel says. "Why would you have a child that big?" Kane asks. "Well when the baby's father is 7 foot tall you usually get a big baby." Angel replies. Kane laughs. Kane opens the door for Angel as they go into the house and head to bed. Kane walks up the stairs with his arm around Angel's lower back. They both settle into bed making love through the night. The next morning Angel wakes in a hurry she tries to get up go to the bathroom in a hurry but Kanes heavy arm is holding her. She moves his arm off her and practically runs to the bathroom across the hall. She slams the door waking Kane. He rises to investigate. "Baby are you ok" he asks as he hears her wretching. The door opens Angel sees Kane standing at the door. "yes, I am fine. Just a little morning sickness is all." Angel replies. "Is that normal?" Kane asks. "Yes, dear its perfectly normal." Angel answers smiling at his innocence.

chapter 11

Angel has made breakfast for Kane as he gets ready for the airport. "Kane it is done" Angel announces. "Ok I will be there in a minute." Kane replies. As Kane bounds down the stairs he sits down at the table to eat. He announces "I don't like being on the road with you in this condition." Angel rolls her eyes at his macho comments. "It's not like I am sick or hurt. I am pregnant not an invalid." Angel snaps. Kane lowers his head and continues to eat his breakfast of 4 fried eggs and 2 waffles.

Angel goes outside. She sits down and lights a smoke. She mutters to herself..."Why did I have to that to him? He was just concerned. Now he is gonna be upset all week for work." Angel finishes her smoke and walks into the house But Kane is nowhere to be found. She knows he is still there cause her car keys are still on the counter. "Kane" She calls. Angel walks around the house. She checks all the places Kane would go, the living room, the weight room, he is nowhere to be found. She walks into the bedroom and she sees a large shadow. Around a corner she sees him wearing his mask and rocking back and forth. With tears in her eyes about to let lose she sits next to him and strokes his hair. "baby I am sorry. I didn't mean to snap at you." Angel says. Kane tosses his head to avoid her touch. Angel removes his mask and notices that his eyes are all puffy and red. She takes his arm and puts it on her shoulder and she gives him a hug. Kane embraces her. "Why were you so mean? I was only concerned is all. What if something happens when I am gone? I don't think I could handle anything happeneing to you or the baby." Kane states. "I know and I am sorry. I never emant to hurt you. Im just really emotional right now." Angel replies. Kane continues to hug her. He moves her hair away from her neck and sofly kisses her on the side of her neck then moves to her chest. "Baby I am not saying no but you have a plane to catch." Angel warns him. "I will get another flight its still early." Kane replies. "Alright yea another flight thats good." Angel mumbles. Kane has her blouse half unbuttoned and rises to his feet, he reaches down and picks her up and carries her to the bed. He continues to remove her clothes and she does the same to him. After an hour of intense love making Kane gets in the shower as Angel does the same. When they finish both Kane and Angel are smiling. Angel wraps a towel around herself and goes into the bedroom to get dressed. Kane follows a few minutes later. He walks into the room just as her towel falls to the ground. She picks it up and covers herself again not knowing Kane was in there he just sits on the bed and watches her. Angel gets dressed and turns around and squeals a little. "Whats wrong?" Kane asks as he tilts his head. "I didn't know you were there." Angel says.

chapter 12

Angel walks down the stairs as Kane is loading a waiting cab. Angel stands in the door way. "I am going to miss you baby." Kane tells her as he hugs her. "Me too be careful and don't get hurt." Angel states. "Its a short week I will be back thursday morning." Kane states. "I love you Kane." Angel says as she stands on her tip toes to kiss Kane goodbye. "I love you too Angel. my sweet Angel." Kane replies.

chapter 13

The phone rings and Angel answers it on the first ring. She gets a terrified look on her face then she begins to shake. She tells the person not to ever call again. Angel slams the phone down, she sits for a few minutes then picks the phone back up and dials Payne's number. Payne answers sounding very groggy from sleep. "Payne can you come over today?" Angel asks. "Uh let me wake up first, whats up?" Payne replies. "of course. I just got a call from a man with a real high voice telling me not to marry Kane." Angel tells her. "That is a little strange why don't you tell Kane?" Payne asks. "I would but he isn't here and I don't want him to worry." Angel says. "gimme an hour and I will be over. Stay inside and don't answer the door I have a key remember." Payne says. "Ok I will see you in a little bit." Angel tells her. They hang up and Angel goes to double check the door and puts the chain on. She wanders through their 2 story house checking all the doors and windows. Angel peers out the upstairs window and she sees a black hearse parked outside across the street. Then a large man on a motorcycle drives up and stops, he says something to the man in the hearse then looks up. He sees Angel looking down at them he gives her an evil sneer then leaves. Angel runs down the stairs and runs to the back door double checks the lock and puts a stick in the sliding glass door for some added security. Just then the phone rings "hello" she says. "Whats wrong baby?" Kane asks on the other end. "I am ok. How about you?" Angel asks. "I am ok and you are lying! I am waiting fofr the plane to start boarding. So tell me whats wrong. And don't lie to me." Kane says. "I can't tell you...you will get worried and then get hurt." Angel answers. "Just tell me. You are pregnant and damn near my wife." Kane tells her. "alright but I don't want you missing anymore work because of me." Angel replies. "Just tell me I wont get mad or upset." Kane says. "Ok then. There is a man that called he had a real high voice and he warned me not to marry you. And there is a black hearse outside. But that isn't all another man drove up on a motorcycle who stopped and said something to the man. they saw me watching them and the man on the bike gave me an evil sneer. i know who they are Kane and I don't want anything to do with them." Angel tells him. "Get Payne to stay with you and I will be home on wednsday. My new contract says I only have to do TV while we are expecting a child." kane informs her. Payne is on her way infact i think she is here now." Angel says . "Well my plane is boarding now so I will call you tonite after my match." Kane replies. "Alright baby. I will be watching. I love you." Angel states. "I love you too and take care of yourself...And stay off the bike." Kane says as they hang up.

Angel goes to let Payne in the house. "get some stuff together we are going on a road trip." Payne informs her. " I can't. Kane is calling me tonite and if i am not here he will worry. We have everything we need right here. Just stay here with me till he comes home." Angel replies. "Alright then." Payne answers. They amuse themselves with some card games and making wedding plans.

Angel picks up the remote and turns the channel on the Tv as the phone rings. Payne answers it. "yea Kane just a minute." Payne replies. She hands Angel the phone. "Hi honey, How is it going." Angel asks. "We have a problem. My brother isn't here and my father is nowhere to be found." Kane informs her. "I know cause your father is outside in the hearse. And I figured out that was your brother on the bike." Angel tells him. "How did you know?" Kane asks. "Remember I am a wrestling fan and when we met I had been there to meet Undertaker." Angel reminds him. "yea thats true. Just be real careful. You have no idea what those 2 are capable of. I will be back wednsday moring about 10 am." Kane says. "Ok I will see you then. who you got tonite?" Angel says. Kane laughs "I got Test." "Oh ok well be careful yourself and good luck baby." Angel says then she hangs up. Raw is just starting as she gets excited oblivious to what is going on outside. Payne goes to look out the window and the men are gone. "Angel they have left finally." Payne informs her. "Good riddance. those 2 are very dangerous." Angel replies. Angel gets up and walks across the house, opens the back door turns on the light and then the security lights come on. she lets her dog out who immediatly starts roaming his yard. She lights a smoke. "Angel you ok out there?" Payne asks. "Yea I am ok the dog is out here with me." Angel replies. "Hey Angel you about done there is something on the tv you need to see." Payne states. Angel walks into the living room and sits down. She smiles. "Isn't he wonderful. They watch the main event. Kane cleans house and defeats test like he has never done before. Kane punished Test for his father's and brother's evil doings. Angel heads to bed after checking all the doors.

Angel wakes up early to run to the bathroom again. After she is doine she walks downstairs and gets a coke from the fridge and goes outside to find a large wooden symbol in the ground. It is charred and is the shape of a "T" with an "X" through it. Being a fan Angel knows what this means. She looks around and sees a sledge hammer on the ground. She puts her coke down and picks up the hammer and destroys the symbol. Being amused with herself she lights her morning smoke. Payne hears the noise and goes to investigate. She sees Angel through the sliding glass door and walks outside. Payne sees the mangled peices of wood. "What happened here?" Payne asks. "I destroyed the Undertaker symbol. He was here again last night. The symbol was charred I am surprised we never noticed." Angel replies. After finishing her smoke Angel walks back into the house to find some breakfast. Heading into her fourth month her appetite is getting really big. "Kane will be happy that you are eating." Payne announces. "Yes he worries. With everything going on I am surprised I can eat anything." Angel says. "I am gonna check to see if we have company." Payne says. "Ok and I am gonna call Kane. I miss him." Angel says. As she picks up the cordless phone it rings. Carefully she looks at the caller ID to make sure she really wants to answer. Angel answers "Hello Baby!" Angel smiles as Kane talks to her. "Ok hunny I will be waiting. I will tell you everything when you get home." Angel says. "Ok baby, I love you too." Angel replies.

chapter 14

Payne is there anyone out there?" Angel asks. "No its all clear but they left you something." Payne replies. "What is it?" Angel asks with fear in her voice "It is Kane's old mask cut in half and burned." Payne says. "Get rid of it he will be here any minute and I intend on meeting him at the door." Angel informs him. "Just go inside Angel. I promised Kane you would be in one peice and still pregnant." Payne barks. "I will meet my fiance and the father of this child at his door and welcome him home! That coward is no longer here watching. Besides that what in the world is Paul Bearer gonna do to me? I know how he works he always has others do his dirty work." Angel yells back. "Whoa Angel I am not the bad guy. Fine if you must I will stay out here with you." "Besides They are not gonna do anything to me when they know that Kane is coming home." Angel announces.

Angel walks in the house and gets her coke and cigarettes then sits down outside to enjoy the comfort of her front porch. A few minutes later a cab pulls up in the driveway and Kane gets out. he pays the driver. He looks up and sees Angel heading towards him. Kane drops his bag he was holdiong and picks Angel up and hugs her. He sets her down to see if she is alright. "How did things go here?" Kane asks. "It was ok after that freak left." Angel replies. "But your brother came back in the night and left a few things behind." Payne announces. "Like what!?" Kane demands to know. Payne hands him the two peices of charred mask and he falls to his knees. "Baby you are coming with me till this matter is settled." Kane demands. "No Kane I want to stay home. We have a wedding to plan and a baby to plan for. That man is not gonna scare me. Remember I was his fan for 11 years he was my favorite, I knew things about him that no other fan knew. I studied him, I watched him. I do not fear him. Infact I am the one who can through to him." Angel tells him. "I don't trust my brother." Kane replies. Payne looks at Kane. "What exactly did he do to you?" She asks. Kane looks at her then looks at Angel. Angel nods her head then Kane takes off his mask to reveal many scars. "They are from a fire that my brother caused to kill me. But he killed what I believed to be my parents. Paul Bearer found me and took me with him. It was a life filled with humiliation and torture. This is why i don't want them getting their hands on My Angel." Kane says. "Well you are home now so lets enjoy ourselves." Angel says.

chapter 15

2 days go by and there has been no problems. Until Angel decides to watch Smackdown and there is a cryptic message on there. All of the sudden a dark voice announces that soon a lovely girl shall be his. That This person is in the custody of his brother and that kane shall soon find out what Hell is really like.

Angel looks at Kane who is furious. "I will destroy him once and for all." Kane yells. Angel turns off the tv and they head upstairs. "Don't you want to watch the rest of the show? I have never seen that happen before Angel." Payne says. "Well I have never had a wrestler threaten everything I have before either. Especially that one. I showed him so much loyalty and now I am done with him." Angel replies. Kane puts his arm around Angel as they go upstairs.

As Angel and Kane lay in bed she asks kane "Can we get married tomarrow?" Kane lays there silent then speaks "Angel that would be a good idea." Angel lays her head on Kane's shoulder and falls to sleep in his arms.

The next morning Angel wakes up and to her surprise Kane is gone and she doesn't have to throw up. She thinks to herself that the morning sickness is gone. She gets up and wanders downstairs and finds Kane nowhere. She goes outside for her smoke. Just then she heasr a bike pull up in the driveway and her heart almost stops. There is a horrible banging on the door as if it may break down. She tosses her smoke on the concrete and goes to see who is there. She puts the chain on the door and opens it a little bit. "What do you want?" She screams. "You belong to me! you always have. Now come with me or your precious Kane will be the one to suffer!" Taker barks back at her. "You can't touch me!" Angel screams. "You were loyal to me for 11 years and now you go with him! How could you? You do realise that we still have that unbreakable bond." Taker informs her. "Well listen up son, That bond is worthless, yes I know it is still there. I have done nothing to betray you...You are the one who is betraying me by your senseless attack on me and Kane's defenseless baby!" Angel screams back. "maybe if you acted human and trieed to see what kane has done for me and accepted it." Angel says. "You shall be mine. I know Kane is gone." Taker informs her. "Is that so?" an even darker voice replies. "Angel you don't have to put up with him anymore." Kane tells her. "Get out of here Taker before I call the police on you. Stalking is against the law you know. I find it funny that you used to be the man that I admired most and now you are the man that i loathe the most! I do not fear you, I will always respect you. But, what you have done to me is unforgivable." Angel informs him. Angel slams the door and goes to the window to make sure he leaves. He starts his bike and leaves. He stops at the end of the driveway and throws his fist into the air. Angel watches as she has tears staining her pale skin. Kane puts his arm around her. "I know that was very hard for you to do. But it had to be done." Kane tells her. "I know Kane. But you don't understand. He was my whole world until I met you. He feels that I betrayed him for you." Angel replies. "It is over he wont be bothering you any longer." "Good I just wanna get married and have this child." Angel replies.

chapter 16

1 MONTH LATER

It is a sunny morning as Angel wakes up, she feels kanes arms around her as he snores softly in his sleep. Angel runs her fingernail across Kane's arm very softly he twitches awake. "Come on baby, we got stuff to do today." Angel announces. "Today you become my wife. I can't wait." Kane replies

Angel puts on her robe and walks downstairs to find that the work people are already there setting up the backyard for the wedding. She gets a coke and goes outside to smoke. The florist walks up to her. "Are these roses to your liking Angel?" "Yes, Beautiful black and red roses. very nice." Angel replies. As Angel finally lights her smoke the doorbell rings. "Kane can you get the door please?" Angel hollers. Kane answers the door and lets the caterers in. "Where do we set up Mr. Kane?" Kane points to the kitchen. "In there" he replies.

Angel goes back inside and kisses Kane on the cheek and heads upstairs. He follows but she cuts him off at the door. "No baby you can't come in." Angel tells him. "why not?" Angel smiles "I have to get ready. When Payne gets here send her up. She has to help me." Angel says. "Alright" Kane pouts.

There is a knock on Angel's door. "Who is it?" "Payne. Let me in here if you want me to help." Angel opens the door letting her friend in. Angel has her dress out and ready. Payne helps her into it. "Ok girl what are we gonna do with your hair?" Angel sits there and thinks for a minute. "Pull it all up and make little ringlets. That flow down the back of my neck." After Payne fixes her hair she puts Angel's make up on. "Ok you are ready." Angel looks in the mirror and looks pleased.

"I am gonna go see if Kane is ready." Payne announces. "give him my love. he is probably very nervous." Payne leaves the room shutting the door. Angel paces. The door opens once again and Payne walks in. "Kane is already there. You ready?" Payne asks. "As ready as I am ever gonna be." Angel replies.

Angel walks down the stairs and into the kitchen. There is a black curtian over the sliding glass door so Kane can't see her until she comes outside.

The wedding march starts as Angel walks outside. Kane watches her all the while with pure love in his eyes. Angel has a single tear that runs down her face as she walks up to the altar. Kane takes her hand in his. as the judge begins to speak.

We have here a couple of people who have overcome great tragedy and still found each other. Now They are to be joined. Do you Kane take this woman to be your wife?
I do with everything I have.
Do you Angel take this man to be your husband?
I do with everything that I have.
I now pronounce you man and wife. You may kiss your bride.
Kane and Angel kiss their first kiss as married people.

chapter 17

Kane and Angel enjoy their first night as husband and wife in their home. He has thousands of red and black rose petals covering their king size bed. He carries the now 6 months pregnant Angel upstairs and into their bedroom. There is a bottle of sparkling cider sitting in a bucket of ice and a tray covered with chocolate strawberries. Angel sees all the effort that Kane has taken to make her happy. He lays her down gently and sits next to her kissing her neck softly. "Kane baby..." Angel whispers. "Yes sweetness..." Kane replies in between kisses. "I want you now, more than I have ever wanted anything." Angel replies. Kane obliges her by removing her short white dress. He sofly caresses her pale breasts, feeling the surging heat from his manhood Angel strips him of every stich he has on. She takes a hold of his erect tool and takes it in her mouth. Kane unable to control himself any longer he gently guides her to the bed and mounts her. Angel winces in pain. "Baby we can't do it this way." Angel tells him. Kane looks confused. "Angel it is our wedding night." Kane replies. "I meant we have to roll over. Here you lay down." Angel tells him. Kane complies and Angel climbs on top of him and she takes all of his length in her. She bends down and kisses him ever so passionatly as he finishes. "Angel rolls over she is dripping in sweat and well as Kane.

"Kane baby, I love you more than life itself." Angel declares. "You are my life, my sweet angel. I still cant believe after a year and a half that I have you forever as my wife." Kane replies. Angel smiles really big. She snuggles next to Kane, "Do we leave tomarrow?" She asks. "Where are we going?" Kane jokingly asks. "You know full well what I am talking about." She tells him. "Yes, baby we leave in the morning." Kane replies. Angel props herself up on her elbows and kisses Kane's enormous chest. "Where we going bay?" She asks. "It is a surprise, and you wint get me to tell you." Kane replies. "I have my ways with you, I can get anything out of you if I want." Angel tells him.

Kane takes one of the dainty champagne glasses and fills it with sparkling cider he hands the glass to Angel, she waits till he has his filled and they toast to a forever happy life.

"What time are we leaving tomarrow?" Angel asks. "Around 1 in the afternoon, why?" Kane replies "I have a doctors appointment tomarrow morning, it is an ultrasound. I want you to go with me this time." Angel tells him. "Angel I can't go to the hospital, it scares me." kane replies. "I will be with you the whole time and it isnt that kind of hospital. Besides don't you want to see the baby?" Angel says. "I can see the baby?" Kane asks confused. "Yes, they put this thing on my tummy that helps them to see a picture of the baby on a little tv. We might even be able to find out if it's a boy or girl." Angel informs him. "Will it hurt?" Kane asks very concerned. "No baby and I will hold your hand the whole time. I know you are afraid of hospitals, but what are you gonna do when the baby is born. Make me do it all myself?" Angel asks. "No I wanna be there when my child is born." Kane snaps. "It is alright hun." Angel reasures him. kane and Angel fall asleep in each others arms.

Teh next morning Angel wakes up and gets in the shower. The running water wakes kane so he decides to join her. They make love in the shower to welcome the new day. "Hurry baby we are gonna be late." Angel talls him.

They arrive to the hospital, Kane begins to shake a little. "It will be alright baby." Angel reasures him. Angel signs her name to the check in list and they wait. "hey Angel we are ready." The doctor tells her. Angel and Kane walk into the exam room. They have the monitor next to the bed. Angel looks at Kane "It will be alright baby. No pain." she tells him. Angel sits on the bed and waits for the doctor. "Ok Angel lay down and uncover your belly." The doctor tells her. She complies. "Doctor this is my husband Kane. He is a little nervous." Angel tells the doctor. "Kane this is painless, we need to do this test to measure the baby, to see if the little one is healthy. Angel or the baby will feel no discomfort." The doctor informs him. "Ok I just don't like hospitals." Kane replies.

the doctor squirts some lubricant on Angel's exposed belly. She jumps with surprise. Kane gets jumpy again. "It's ok baby, calm down." Angel tells him. "He said no pain or discomfort. I don't want anyone to hurt you." Kane says. "Baby it was just cold. Just hold my hand and watch the monitor." Angel instructs.

A picture comes on the monitor Angel turns to see kane's face. he has so much love and happiness in his eyes at the sight of his first child. "I am finding 2 heartbeats and I see 2 fetus' Angel you gonna have twins." The doctor tells her. "oh boy, 2 baby's?" Kane asks. "Yes, 2 babies. Would you like to know the gender?" The doctor asks. "Yes, we would."Angel and Kane both reply at once. "one is a boy and the other is a girl. Fraternal twins." the doctor states. "just as soon as I print this picture we are done. See Kane Angel felt no pain." The doctor says. Kane smiles with glee. "But the only problem I can forsee is that the babies will be very big at least 10 pounds each. Angel wont beable to deliver them naturally." The doctor says. "What does that mean?" Kane asks confused. "She will have to have a caserian section. That is where we cut an incision on her belly to remove the babies." The doctor answers. "Will it hurt her?" Kane asks. "The actual procedure she wont feel but she will be required to stay in the hospital for a few days longer. And she will have some discomfort afterwards." The doctor answers.

Kane and Angel leave the hospital. They head home to pack for their honeymoon. Kane calls the cab, it arrives in a few minutes. Kane loads their luggage into the trunk and they head off to the airport. "You gonna tell me where we are going yet?" Angel asks. "Alright, we are going to Las Vegas. But just for a few days then I have to go back to work." Kane replies.

chapter 18

Kane and Angel return home in a few days. Kane has one day to enjoy with his wife until he must return to the ring. They spend most of that time snuggled in each others arm or making love.
"Angel I am gonna be gone a couple of weeks. With the threat of my brother gone I am not too worried. But if you need me I am only a phone call away." Kane says. "I will be ok, Maybe me and Payne will go do something." Angel replies.

The next day kane leaves early after kissing his wife goodbye. "remember if you need me to call. And I will call you everyday. I love you my sweet Angel." Kane says. "I love you too baby. Be careful." Angel replies as she hugs him and then kisses him. Angel watches Kane get into the waiting cab and drive away.

A few days pass. Angel keeps herself busy by doing some housework, She repairs Kane's torn costume so he will have it for next time. One day Angel is out walking her rottweiller and she sees a Harley Davidson drive by and that makes her think of her neglected bike. A bike she hasn't touched for months now. She decides on her way back that she will tune up the bike and clean it up a bit. Angel gets back to the house puts her dog in ths back yard and goes to the garage. her bike is sitting in the corner covered in dust. She takes a soft cloth and starts to wipe the dust off. She heasr the roar of onother bike and opens the electronic door to the garage and welcome's Payne inside to help her. "Hey girl, didn't Kane say to stay off the bike?" Payne asks. "I am not on it am I?" Angel replies. "Whoa Angel whats with the attitude?" Payne asks. "I am just a littel tired." Angel replies. " I think it is more than tired, I haven't seen you like this in a very long time. Tell me whats wrong." payne coaxes. "I am just missing Kane is all." Angel replies. "When is he due back?" Payne asks. "In 10 days." Angel replies. "You just look miserable." Payne comments. "I will be ok. I think I am gonna take a nap. Come by later?" Angel says. "yea i will see ya later Angel." Payne replies as she starts her bike again.

Several hours later with darkness falling Payne stops by she knocks on the door but there is no answer. She tries the knob but it is locked. "Oh she must have went out. But the car is still here, she couldn't have gone far. I will just call later." Payne thinks to herself. An hour later Payne calls But there is no answer. I am very worried about her. she thinks.

A few days pass and Payne still cant get ahold of Angel. Payne stops by the house and uses her key to see if everything is ok. Mail has piled up as it is dropped through the slot. Payne looks through it and notices post cards with little love notes on them from Kane are just sitting on the floor. Ok now she would have never left these here. Payne thinks. Payne walks up stairs and notices that Angel's bed is unslept in. Now she is really worried. Payne notices that the light is blinking on the answering machine. She pushes the button to listen to the messages. The first one is from Kane. "Angel baby, I had my match, I did good. I beat my brothers ass thought you may like to hear that. He asked about you and I chokeslammed him for his careless thoughts. Ok I will call later, Love you more than life. Payne starts to panic at the thought that kane's message went unheard. She listens to the other 2 messages they are from Kane also. Payne wanders around the house searching for Angel. She hears the soft sound of crying. She stops and looks for the sound again. it is coming from Angel's studio wich is usually locked. Since her falling out with The Undertaker she doesn't write anymore. the room is never used and Kane wont step foot in there. "Angel...Angel where are ya hun?" Payne shouts. Payne gets no answer so she turns the knob on the studio door where Angel is and to her dismay it is locked. She gives it a good kick and breaks the lock on the door. Angel is sitting in there rocking back and forth oblivious to the door opening. Payne is very distraught at seeing her best friend in the world so freaked out. Payne sits down next to Angel and takes her hand only to see that is covered in blood, Payne takes waht Angel is holding but Angel fights her for it. "No Dont take him away!" Angel screams. "Just let me see it, You have hurt yourself, Angel." Payne replies very calmly. Angel unfolds her hand and a pewter Undertaker symbol falls from her hand. Payne picks it up off the floor. Angel snatches it from her and clutches it to her heart. "You cant take him away he is all I have!" Angel screams with tears running down her face. "I am not taking anything away from you." Payne says. "Come on Angel you neeed to get something to eat, Kane has called a few times, he left messages." payne tells her. "Kane left me he isn't coming back. I am not strong enough for him he said." Angel says. Payne puts her arm around Angel and helps her up. Angel balks at the thought of leaving her sanctuary. "No, I want to stay here." She says. "Alright I will bring you something." payne says. "A coke please and my cigarettes." Angel requests. "I will bring you some food too." payne informs her. "Payne dont call Kane I will talk to him when he calls." Angel says. Angel begins to cry again after Payne is out of ear shot. She looks up at a huge lifesize picture of Taker. "Why...Why deadman...why did you do this to me?"

payne is downstairs dialing the phone to kane's cell phone. He answers thining that it is Angel. "Hey sweetness." Kane greets. "Kane it's Payne. She is in bad shape. Real bad shape." Payne tells him. "What is wrong? Is she hurt?" He asks. "No she isnt hurt, but she has fallen into a deep depression. I haven't seen one of these in a really long time." Payne tells him. "I am on my way home tonite right after the show. Please stay with her and tell her I love her." Kane says. "I will but I know you will hate this but she has been locke din her studio for a few days and you need to bring your brother with you." Payne tells him. Kane grunts into the phone a sound that frightens Payne. "No I will not endanger her with his presence!" Kane yells. "Kane I know it wont be easy but, he is the only thing that will get through to her. She was holding one of his symbol necklaces that he personally gave her once. She was screaming Why did you leave me." Payne informs him. "I have never seen her this way before." Kane says. "Another thing she told is that she thinks you left her and that you arent coming back. She said that you told her that she was weak." Payne says. "I never said anything like that, Im gonna go talk to vince right now and get that brother of mine. i have to make her better. She has done so much for me." Kane says. "Ok I will see you later on tonite then. They hang up and payne brings Angel a sandwich, a coke and her smokes.

A few hours later the front door opens, Kane and Taker enter. "Angel baby I am home." Angel gets a paniced look on her face. "Please tell him to go away." She pleads with payne. "She is up her in the studio" Payne yells.

"You stay here until I see what is wrong." kane tells Taker. Taker obeys his brothers command. Kane goes upstairs and goes to the studio where he sees the door is broken. "What is going on in here?" He asks. He immediatly goes down onhis knees and holds his wife who is so visibly upset. He kisses her softly on the cheek. kane lifts his head and looks around the room and sees a literal shrine to his brother. He begins to shake and stammer. "Angel what is all of this? i knew you looked up to him...I knew that you and him have a bond but I never knew it was this bad." kane says. "You hate me now?" Angel cries. "No Baby I love you." Kane says. "then why did you leave me?" Angel asks. I didn't leave I just had to work. I am here now." Kane replies "Did you bring what I asked for?" Payne asks. "Yes, please get it." kane commands.

Payne goes down stairs. "You need to come with me. If you hurt her in any way trust me Kane's wrath is nothing compared to mine. She cried over you after you stalked her." payne tells Taker. Taker follows her upstairs into the studio. "Oh my She has everything I ever signed. Taker bends down on the other side of Angel. He gently strokes her hair. "Angel come on now my nephews need to grow healthy. Please come down stairs." Taker pleads with her. Angel turns and looks at Kane. "I am so sorry baby, I love you. I nevermeant to hurt you." Angel says. "You have done nothing wrong. I have brought your Taker to help you." Kane replies. "Yes Angel I am here. I aint never leavin darlin'." Taker says. "Come on Angel you need to leave this room." Payne says. "NO! My Taker lives here. he is always here in this room. I have disgraced him...I have left him. I broke our bond. I am weak!" Angel screams. "Brother please comfort her. I can't deal with this. My own wife loves you more than she does me." Kane cries. "No Brother she loves you. She loves you with everything she has. But I am her strength...her rock. Because of me she in this deep depression. I hurt her beyond all recognition. My petty jealousy caused all of this." Taker shouts. "You did it you deal with it." Kane growls. "She is your wife...She needs both of us. You don't understand Me and this girl got something that nobody will ever have. We have an unbreakable bond, But you are her strength now. Just help me get her out of this room." Taker says.

Taker picks her up and carries her downstairs with ease. He sets her down on the couch. "Now tell your Taker what is wrong darlin." Angel rolls her eyes then looks at Taker "You left me...How could you!" Angel screams at him. "I left you? Darlin you shut me out. You said you were through with me." Taker said. Taker infolds her hand that is still clutching the symbol. "I gave you this, didn't I?" He asks. "Yes, I have kept everything you ever gave me...I have every thing you have ever done in that room. I built in memory of you. But I broke our bond." Angel says. "No darlin, that bond is forever." Taker says. "But Kane is so hurt, I want my Kane, Where is he?" Angel asks almost delirously. "I am right here baby." Kane reassures her. "Kane I never meant to hurt you, but I couldn't tell you about this." Angel says. "Why not...do you think I am that weak as to not understand?" Kane asks her. "No baby, I didn't want to hurt you." Angel cries. "Don't worry baby, I am not hurt. I just want you to get better. It is ok if you still have your Taker. Do you still love me Angel?" he asks. "Yes with everything I have. I will always love you. You aremy husband and the father os these babies. Just never leave, promise that you will never leave me." Angel pleads. "I promise to never leave you." Kane tells her as he holds her and wipes awy her tears. Angel sits up and holds on to her husband for dear life. She lifts his mask and deeply kisses him, then she looks at Taker. "You promise too, Never leave me again, my Deadman." Angel pleads. "I promise" Taker says. "Good I got my brothers of destruction back. Everythingis gonna be good again." Angel says as she smiles. "Everything is gonna be ok now." Payne says. "Does this happen often? Kane asked "Sometimes but not often anymore. this was the first episode that she has had since the last time she was attacked." Payne say. "What do you mean attacked?" Taker demands. "Her adopted father and brother beat abd raped her for years...most of her childhood. She was treated like a slave growing up and it messed her up." Payne informs him. "She will be ok now." She says. "Guys help me up I want to go outside." Angel asks. Taker and kane both help her outside. Payne gets her smokes for her and they all go outside. For once kane doesn't mind the flame from the lighter. He just watches her

Chapter 19

Once outside she lights up, she looks to her strong men. One she loves more than life and the other her symbolic brother. Her strength...he can save her from anything. She feels much stronger now, as she paces the covered porch.

"Sit down Angel, baby. Please." Kane pleads.

"I am fine."

"You have been locked up in that room for god knows ho wlong. You havent eaten or slept in days. I want you to rest if not for me but for our babies." he says.

She walks over to a chair and collapses in it. payne takes the cigarette out of her hand and kane picks her up. he carries her into the house and up the stairs to their king sized bed. he gently lays her down, as she rolls over snoring. He quietly shuts the door and heads back to the living room.

"Is she ok?" Taker asks.

"I think so after she sleeps."

"How long did Vince give you guys?"

"He said take as much as you need. I am not leaving till I am satisfied that my wife is alright." He replies.

"Well, i aint leaving till i know she is fine too." Taker adds.

"hey, Kane when you go back on the road, why don't I stay here with Angel. Just so she isn't alone." Payne suggests.

"That is a good idea." He says tilting his masked face.

A few weeks later Angel has recovered and is feeling strong kane decides it's time to return to work.

"Angel, Payne says she is wants to stay with you, while I am on the road. To keep you company."

"I will welcome the company, plus she will keep an eye on me right?" She smirks.

"I am sorry baby. I just worry about you is all, so does that big lug out there."

"I know, just remember I am pregnant not sick."

"Yeah and you have my children growing inside of you, so I am taking the steps to make sure you are alright." He replies.

"Alright, Kane cut the macho crap you and i both know you are not like that."

Chapter 20

***6 Months Later***

Payne frantically dials Kane's number, but the phone is off. "Dammit answer your phone!" She grumbles. She gets his voice mail and leaves a message. "Kane we are heading to the hospital. Angel's water broke and she is going into labor real fast. Hurry home." Hanging up she helps Angel into the car and she drives her to the hospital. "Did you call Kane?" She asks. "Yes, he wasn't there. I left him a message." "Did you call Taker?" Angel asks. "No, I just called Kane." Payne replies. Angel pulls out her own phone and dials Taker's number. "Hello." He answers. "Bubba it's me, where is my husband?" She asks. "He's kicking ass in a match right now." He replies. "Well when he is doen put him on a plane for home. His twins are gonna be born today." She replies. "Right now?" He asks excitedly. "Yes, we are pulling into hospital now." "Bell just rang, I am on my way to get him. See you in a few hours, Angel baby." Payne throws the car into park and rushes out to help Angel out. She walks her to the entrance, an orderly rushes to her and puts her in a wheelchair and whhels her to the admit desk. She tries to breathe through a monster contraction. "I am in labor." She announces to the admitting nurse. "How long?" "I dont know maybe an hour, my water broke." She replies. "Take her to maternity, I will call up there." The oderly wheels Angel into the elevator and they get out on the maternity floor where they are directed to a room immediatly. Angel follows the instructions form the nurse as Payne helps her.

"Will the baby's father be present?" A nurse asks. "Yes, as soon as his plane gets here. He is a professional wrestler." "I have to examine her." "I want her here, she is my best friend and has seen me through worse." Angel replies. "First baby huh?" The nurse asks as she listens to the baby's heart rate." "Yeah well I am having twins." "By the judge of your size very big twins. They have a good heart beat. Now I am gonna hook up this monitor, it wont hurt. It just monitors the heart rate and your contactions."

Suddenly the door burts open. "There are two huge men out here saying they are here to see Angel Jacobs." Another nurse says. "One with red hair and covered in tattoos, the other long curly red hair about the same size?" Angel asks. "Yes, are they ok?" "They better be one is my husband and the other a close friend." "very well I will send them when your exam is done."

A few minutes later Angel lets out a blood curtling scream. Kane comes bolting through the door. "Angel baby are you alright?" She breathes hard as she looks up at him and smiles. "Baby take your mask off, I want to see you." "No, not in public, they will see me." "You are beautiful, now take it off." She demands. He removes the mask, one nurse looks at him horrified. Angel pulls at her arm and whispers into her ear. "Don't look at him like that. He is terrified of hospitals but even more terrified of peopel reactions to his face. He was burned, and he is very sensative about it." "I am sorry."

The doctor walks in as Angel has another hard contraction he glances at the read out of the monitor. "get her prepared, these babies are gonna be born in a few minutes. Everyone but the father needs to go to the waiting room. We will tell you when they are born." The doctor commands. "No, I want all of them here." Angel pleads. "Fine, but I need room to do my job."

Kane takes her hand and Taker takes the other. "Now, Angel when you get the next one I want you to push." A few seconds later she squeezes both the behmouths hands as tight as she can and pushes. The first child is born, a girl with red curly hair. Angel relaxes and lets go of Kane's and Taker's hands. They shake out the pain. A few seconds later she grabs them again and in a single push, the other is born, a boy with straight red hair. Kane kisses her after she relaxes from the pain. Exhausted she smiles at him. He has tears running down his face, she reaches up and wipes them away. "I love you Angel." He whispers.

Chapter 21

A few hours later Angel sits up. She looks around and sees her husband sitting in a small chair sleeping. She smiles as she tries to get out of bed. She winces in pain as she gets to her feet, she walks a few steps and takes a strip of Kane's curly hair and twirls it around her finger. He comes around and looks at her and smiles.

"What are you doing out of bed?" He asks.

"I wanted to touch you, I wanted to kiss you." She replies smiling.

"Lets get you back into bed, you shouldn't be up and moving around already. Besides I think the medication is still having it's affects on you." He says helping her back into bed.

"What should we name the babies?" She asks.

"Damon and Alexis." He says.

"Sounds fine with me." She replies groggy with sleep. Kane looks down at her and she is sound asleep. "Good, get some rest baby." He says leaving the room.

He runs into Taker who is just coming to check on her. Taker carries a huge boquet of flowers and some balloons. "How is she?" He asks. "She is sleeping."

"Well, I wont wake her. Meet me in cafeteria in a few."

"Yeah lets get something to eat, I am hungry." Kane says as he leaves.

Some time passes as Taker meets up with Kane. They choose a few things from a counter and sit down. "She will be able to come home in a day. I am gonna stay home with her for a month. I already got the ok from Vince." Kane announces. "Well keep me updated, I know they are your children, but they are also my neice and nephew. And I care about Angel." Taker replies. "Sure, whats with all that? Are you feeling a bit left out?" "No, not left out, I feel in the way." He replies. "There is no need to feel that way, Angel is very fragile, and she needs everyone that cares about her." Kane says.

Chapter 22

***3 Months Later***

"You know we will be fine, you were supposed to go back to work 2 months ago." She says playfully.

Kane looks up from his daughter he is holding. Her hazel eyes keep his attention as she smiles and girlges at him. "I know but i don't want to miss a thing with the kids." He replies smiling.

"you need to figure out what you are gonna do."

"I don't want to go back to work. I have saved enough money fro us to live comfortably for the rest of our lives. I am thinking of retiring." He announces.

"And why am I hearing this for the first time?" She smiles.

"I didn't know what you would say." he replies.

"Yes, Kane! Retire then I wont have to worry about you no more. I would have you all to myself."

"You gotta share with them." He says gazing down at his son.

"I finally got my happily ever after." She says hugging him.

"I love you, Angel baby." he says kissing her gently.
