Hopeless Romantic
Starring:
-OC: Kendra Nelson
-Kane
He sat on the large four poster bed, his hand holding onto a fistful of the
satin material at his side. Black satin to be exact. His smile was crooked as
the door handle turned. "Kane?" The raspy voice made his odd coloured eyes light
up. The Big Red Machine was not known for being sensitive, caring or gentle, but
with his little lady he was all of the above. Especially tonight. They'd
survived a year of hell when he'd been tossed into the ring and ended up
injuring his knee and then she'd been released two weeks later due to some
fights backstage with a few of the girls. "What the…"
"Hey honey," he said, standing up as Kendra took in the numerous candles and
dark sexy lighting it created as the slow wordless music thudded over the
stereo. "Happy anniversary."
Her sweet smile made him grin wider. She liked it. "You didn't have to do this,
babe," she told him while putting her bags down, TNA had jumped on her
immediately and when she had joined them, her whole career had gone from barely
recognised jobber to a top Knockout in only two months. "I said we didn't have
to do this, that we could just go out."
He wrapped his arms around her. "I wanted to do this," he said, leaning down so
he was able to kiss her sweetly as her arms wrapped around his neck and he
lifted her from the floor.
She pulled back when the need for air became too great and looked at her
boyfriend. No one could understand why she was with him, hence the fights
backstage. "Well, I'm all sweaty, so I need a bath and then you can pamper me
all you want."
He let her go, despite his protest knowing that she was just going to end up all
sweaty again in the long run. As she opened the door to the bathroom, she found
it in very much the same condition as what their bedroom was. "I knew you'd want
a bath." She turned and looked up at him, smiling as she started to lift her
shirt up over her head.
His eyes watched the smooth, toned and tanned skin that was exposed as she did
so. Her whole attention was focused on stripping herself however she did see him
dragging his shirt off. Smiling, Kendra quickly stripped and slipped into the
large bath. Both their careers had paid for their house and yes people thought
it was odd that a year into their relationship they were already living
together, but they were happy and no one else mattered when it came to them.
She leaned forward in the bath as Kane eased himself down behind her. Despite
the level of water and bubbles, her finger traced the scar that was nearly
healed she knew it still gave her trouble. His hands slid up her back and she
shivered as his fingers traced her wolf tattoo on her shoulder blade. Since
leaving WWE, TNA had given her unlimited control of her character and appearance
so now she had the tattoos WWE refused to let her have. He loved everyone one of
them as they were uniquely Kendra and made her who she was.
Leaning forward he pressed his lips to her shoulder and slowly trailed his hands
down her arms. "You are truly a hopeless romantic, ya know that, right?" she
questioned with a small laugh as she leaned back against his chest.
"Don't tell anyone else that, or I'll lose my reputation," he said darkly,
sinking his teeth into her neck lightly. She moaned, running her hands over his
legs as he slid his hands around her waist, letting himself get lost in the
blueberry smell of her hair.
"Lose your reputation? The Big Red Machine lose his reputation? Never! Its
blasphemy to even say that," she stated somewhat overdramatically as she tilted
her head round to look at him. "No one will ever see this side of you except for
me."
He kissed her deeply and Kendra turned until she was straddling his large bulk.
The woman was tall around five foot eight but she appeared tiny alongside him
and had caught his eye that moment he had seen her backstage getting ready for
her first match.
Kane dried her off, being careful of her shoulder which was slightly tender from
where Christy Hemme had not caught her right while in the ring today, he'd seen
the match and had smiled when she'd gritted her teeth and pulled through to
finish the match with one nasty corkscrew senton onto the woman.
He careful picked her up and carried her out to the bed. Black and red satin
sheets met her cooling skin as he laid her down.
Kane was always a mean man when backstage but once home and with Kendra he was
an entirely different person. She'd admitted that at first he had terrified her
but after the first week of seeing this side of him she had not been scared as
so many others were.
His hands slowly felt the long and toned legs that wrapped around his waist as
he settled himself down between them and the well-rounded hips that made a man's
mouth water.
She tugged him down into a slow, meaningful kiss and smiled against as she felt
one of his hands entwining with hers as he slowly pulled his mouth away from
hers and whispered that he loved her.
Laying with her head on his chest, Kendra let her fingers dance across his
stomach lightly, smiling as he tried to suck his gut in away from her. She
looked up at him and laid her head back down as he brushed her hair from her
forehead. "I love you," he murmured. She leaned up and kissed him. As she pulled
away, her eyes caught sight of a small dark red box on the bedside table.
Opening her mouth to say something, he put his finger up and grabbed the small
box, sitting up against the headboard. "You said I was a hopeless romantic
before, Kendra, try now."
As he opened the small box, she found a ring in it. Her eyes lit up as she
slowly took the box before leaning up and planting a deep kiss on his lips. "And
I stand by that. You truly are a hopeless romantic." His deep chuckle made her
smile widely before he pulled her into another kiss.
